The homeless mission in Orlando is something Joe and I really enjoy. We make our way over there at least four times a year. There is singing and good preaching and we all have a good time worshiping the Lord together. We try to take them a little gift every time we go. It might be book marks, hand made crosses, handkerchiefs, or used Daily Bread devotion books that I collect from every one every where. I need about 200 of what ever we give out because every service is always standing room only. In 2011 we have 4 bookings. March 27th, June 26th, Sept. 25th and Dec. 18th. After each concert Pastor Shane Ryle will preach. Brother Ryle comes from Fellowship Baptist Church in Orlando where he is the associate pastor. We pray for Gods anointing on each of these services. Some live at the mission until they get back on their feet. Others live on the streets and show up for church on Sunday morning and Sunday night. Some were once rich and have lost everything for whatever reason. Some have lost their jobs and then lost their homes. And a few have chosen this as a way of life. But God still loves them and we do too. Yet by the grace of God we could have been in the same situation. All services are open to the public. And some folks do visit from time to time. I assure you, you will receive a blessing if you attend. All of the above dates are on Sunday evening at 7:00pm.
